Two beauties from Eschdorf...

Cows in Sunlight, oil on board, 18x13 cm

In German, when between the age of ca. 6 months and 2,5 years, a young cow is called "Rind". I wonder if there is an equivalent term in English?

Strangely, while painting this one, it felt as if I was working on a larger one.

Anyway, I am glad I stopped "Cows in Sunlight", before I ruined it through endless improvements. THE challenge for me with every painting...
